External Camera and Microphones for Surface Hub
I would like to investigate the possibility of using both an external camera and external microphones with the 84” Microsoft Surface Hub unit. I have a potential use case where the unit will be installed into a large boardroom where the inbuilt microphone and dual camera system will not suffice. Is this possible and do I need to bring the microphone audio in as usb or can it be done via an analogue input ? Also can you please confirm if I can extract from the unit its audio to send to room speakers and disable the built-in speakers? Is there list of certified camera and microphone from Microsoft for it?

Check around this group - there are other posts about this subject as well.
- You can definitely use external cameras and microphones - this is common in large rooms.
