Does the Surface Hub V1 still have a purpose?

Surface Hub V1 uses the same OS build as the 2S and new features are constantly being rolled out.
If you're not seeing new features for years, please check if you're on the latest build: Surface Hub update history - Surface Hub | Microsoft Docs

As stated above, both Surface Hub V1 and 2S use the same operating system. There's no software difference between the two. Surface Hub V1 should also be able to join Coordinated Meetings. I recommend that if you have issues configuring this, please open a support request and we can help out
