Displaying battery percentage on Surface Hub 2S
- Feb 02, 2023
Hello McGowanM616,
The device will receive power from the battery via the DC cable but the battery information is sent via the USB cable. Both are independent from each other.
Please also check this new article that will give you a better insight on how the battery should be installed.
Best regards,
Cezar
Hello McGowanM616,
Assuming all your Surface Hubs are equipped with batteries, please make sure the USB cable is connected between your Surface Hub and the APC battery and your device is up to date.
For reference, please check this video.
Best regards,

Thanks for the suggestion but the device runs when not plugged in, so the battery's definitely connected and working.

Thanks very much,
Cezar- McGowanM616Feb 03, 2023Copper ContributorCezar, thanks very much - you were spot on, the lack of notification was purely due to the fact that the USB cable from the battery was not plugged into the Hub itself, As soon as we connected that and gave the battery some charge, we got the display battery health on-screen.
