Surface Go NFC
The surface go has an NFC device in it apparently but info on this thing is incredibly sparse! I have no clue about it at all.. Does anyone have any information on this aspect of the device at all? Microsoft's product pages have hardly even mention it, and searching the internet is not producing any official information.
This is potentially very useful for business so what the heck Microsoft, why is it not front and center??

I finally got it working on a Surface Go 2 for Business using the ProximityDevice API class.

Myles Gallagher Did you ever get the NFC on the Surface Go to work? We bought a Surface Go 2 for Business recently (which by spec should have NFC), but we did not get any app to read a tag nor access it from an https://github.com/microsoftarchive/msdn-code-gallery-microsoft/tree/master/Official%20Windows%20Platform%20Sample/Proximity%20sample using the Proximity API.
How to get the NFC reader working on Surface Go / Surface Go 2 for Business?
