Dock 2 firmware versions

How do you tell what is the current version of firmware that has been released for a Surface Dock 2?

I've looked at the files listed here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=101317 

None of those files have numbers that match what I'm seeing in the accessories view of the Surface app on Surface Book 3. Windows Update says I've got all the recent updates but I'm trying to validate that because this dock is a replacement for one that kept blinking my monitors so I would like to make sure, rather than take it on faith that WindowsUpdate is working.

    jaseb23 I have the exact same problem. External monitor hooked to Surface Dock 2 under HDMI 2.0 keeps blinking. Did you resolve this ?

      shamel2350 nope, it still happens. Usually not for a while (a couple of days, maybe) after a reboot so that's one solution, the other is to disconnect the computer from the dock, let all the applications adjust to being on one screen, then plug the dock back in and move everything back where it should be.

        I switch to the PC monitor, wait for 30 sec then reactivate the external monitor. Resorted to HDMI because the monitor was Thunderbolt and so the Surface Dock 2 does not support Thunderbolt through either USBC or DP. I will probably end up changing the monitor in the end. MS not supporting Thunderbold is a pain.
