Dock 2 firmware versions
How do you tell what is the current version of firmware that has been released for a Surface Dock 2? I've looked at the files listed here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=101...
shamel2350 nope, it still happens. Usually not for a while (a couple of days, maybe) after a reboot so that's one solution, the other is to disconnect the computer from the dock, let all the applications adjust to being on one screen, then plug the dock back in and move everything back where it should be.
I switch to the PC monitor, wait for 30 sec then reactivate the external monitor. Resorted to HDMI because the monitor was Thunderbolt and so the Surface Dock 2 does not support Thunderbolt through either USBC or DP. I will probably end up changing the monitor in the end. MS not supporting Thunderbold is a pain.
shamel2350 That was the same frustration for me, I swapped out the monitor. It has only been a day but I'm optimistic that it will be more reliable.
