Alternatives to Viva Goals?
Viva Goals being retired wasn't good news. It put many of us in the community in a pretty tough spot. There is less than a year to find a new OKR software and migrate. We really liked Viva Goals because our team could use it inside Microsoft Teams. Some of the alternatives we are considering switching to are:
- Teamflect
- WorkBoard
- Perdoo
All three of these have great Microsoft Teams integration and solid OKR features.
We are also considering other alternatives such as Profit Co and Lattice.
Any opinions on or experience with these tools?

We went through something similar. It was a huge blow for us as well. They announced it a couple months after we put our entire strategy into Viva Goals. From the options you listed, we went with Teamflect and have been using it for about a month now. The migration was smooth and it does everything need it to do.
Great tool that lets you migrate pretty easily from Viva Goals and integrates into Teams and has OKR features with AI-capabilities too is Rhythms. The team that created Rhythms is the same that made Ally.io, the precursor to Viva Goals and the startup that became Viva Goals after being acquired by Microsoft.
I understand the challenge Viva Goals retirement has created. It’s a tight timeline to find the right replacement and migrate smoothly.
You’ve listed some solid options.
Profit.co enjoys excellent ratings on Microsoft AppSource, offering seamless integration with Microsoft Apps. I would say this broad compatibility makes Profit.co worth considering as a strong alternative.
If you’re paying for a new tool, it may be worth taking a look at Goals in Planner Premium. It’s not quite as robust as Viva Goals and is more task oriented but you’ll also get the flexibility of custom columns etc in Planner Premium.
the other benefits is that its integrated with Teams, staff have a one stop shop for all their tasks, integrates with To Do, Loop, flagged emails etc
