Microsoft Edge does not restore pinned tabs correctly after browser restart

Hello Microsoft Community,

I’m facing a strange issue with Microsoft Edge (Chromium) related to pinned tabs.

I have several tabs pinned (such as email and dashboards). When I close Edge completely and reopen it, the pinned tabs do appear, but their content does not restore correctly. Instead of loading the original pages, some pinned tabs open as blank tabs or reload to a different session state, even though the URLs remain the same.

What I’ve already tried:

• Restarting the browser and system
• Turning off and on “Continue where you left off”
• Clearing cache (not cookies)
• Disabling all extensions
• Testing with a new Edge profile (issue does not happen there)

This seems to happen only on my main profile and only with pinned tabs, not regular tabs.

I’d like to know:

• Is this a known Edge profile sync or session bug?
• Is there a way to reset pinned tab session data without deleting the entire profile?
• Any advanced troubleshooting steps I can try?
