Why are the total points in Microsoft Learn different on profile page?

The catch is that the individual module pages sometimes display points specific to that session, the points required to reach the next level, or potential points, whereas your profile page tracks your cumulative lifetime total.
When you get some 3299 points, you'll complete the level 10.

After that you'll be in level 11, the individual module points reset to 0 / level11_required_points XP while the profile points will be 155899 / 155899 + level11_required_points XP.

This is the math and logic behind it.
