Repetition of examination

If you did not pass the AZ-500 exam, you can retake it, but Microsoft’s standard retake policy applies. The free retake offer depends on whether your registration was part of a specific promotion or voucher that included a “second shot.”

If your original exam purchase or voucher stated that a free retake was included, you’ll receive an email or confirmation in your Certification Dashboard once results are processed, with instructions to schedule the free attempt.

Otherwise, you’ll need to register and pay for the exam again through the Microsoft Certification portal. You can check your eligibility and any active offers by signing in to https://learn.microsoft.com/certifications

Please note that Microsoft requires at least 24 hours before retaking the exam after a failed attempt.
