Customizing site usage reports

Hi All

We need to do some reporting on our SharePoint online site usage and the standard one is no good for us, its too basic (we need to know who added/ modified what, on the daily basis). So I am wandering if there is any way to customise site usage page?

Or even better - connect to site audit logs from PowerBI? (Would need to know where those logs kept in the first place) .

Any ideas?

Thanks

RomanRomych no there is no way to customize the site usage statistics. I agree, it's far too basic at the moment. There are several uservoice requests which you can vote for, for example at https://sharepoint.uservoice.com/forums/329214-sites-and-collaboration?query=site%20usage

What you could do (which we do on one site every week) is that every day a flow in Power Automate runs automatically and looks at the changes made to each document library, to all lists and to every site page. It then deletes the rows in an excel spreadsheet from the previous run and adds the new data in.

      Hi Rob,
Thanks for the clarify the site usage statistics. I have another query which is related to Share Point Analytics. If you can help me.
Query: Can we customize the views which is as of now 7, 30 and 90 days to 180 days as well?

      Is it possible ?
      Thanks,
      P Anand

P_Anand_331991 no that's possible although I believe the data can be accessed through the Office 365 Admin Portal.
