which choose team site or document center ?

Hello

     our company have a program need save data (pdf file) to sharepoint as storage and in our program only save link point to sharepoint file .example file1.pdf then link can is http://site.com.vn/documents/file1.pdf

    I see on sharepoint have two option to create as this requirement is Team Site and Document Center 

    please recommend help me should create team site or Document Center ? and it can contain more file and can up to near 500 GB
