When will Microsoft Lists get ability to add checkboxes with rich text?

Trying to make the transition from several Planners to a single Lists with views for each sub team. Going to have to delay making that move though since a lot of our tasks will have several subtasks and creating 10+ lines instead of one task with the 10 checkbox items in the description is just making this even more messy.
