Version history of lists - problems seeing in SharePoint Online Office 365
Hello SharePoint community,
I've recently setup a number of SharePoint Online lists which were moved/migrated from an Access database. I'm keen to setup version history viewing so all members (who can edit) in the page can see the version history of the lists and have to ability to go back to a previous version if needed. Have opened one of the lists and gone through the 'List Settings/Version Settings/ and then setup version creation upon editing following guidelines on the following link:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/enable-and-configure-versioning-for-a-list-or-library-1555d642-23ee-446a-990a-bcab618c7a37
However, after clicking OK and apply these am not able to see the version history of the list only the following options within the site contents:
Delete / Settings /Details
Have made some minor edits to the list and then tried to look for version history and cannot see this just the same options as above. Do the lists need to be contained within a library in SharePoint Online? If so will this affect the integrity of the links of the lists to the tables in Access? Am keen to keep this simple and enable users to see version history and change/edit if needed.
Look forward to your advice and responses.
Many thanks,
Davina
