the next higher version after SharePoint 2013 SP1

Hello, I want to update our SharePoint 2013 SP1. What is the next higher Update-Version (CU) that i can directly apply? Thank you for help Regards Kader

Hi Thomas,

Thank you for your quickly Response. I want use, if possible, the latest or penultimate stable Version 2017. I think that the jump to 2018 is too big.

Which Version can you recommend me?

Very helpful link. But is it not so that the last update corrects all possible errors in the previous versions?

If it is the case then I will install the last one.

  It is correct these updates are cumulative, but every update might introduce new problems. Normally it's a good idea to not install the latest update, but a previous one. For example: you might want to use the December 2017 update.
