Teams list update via excel
HI,
I have uploaded a Excel Sheet into teams via sharepoint. Occasionally we want to update the data of that list using Excel. Exporting the list from SharePoint to Excel is no problem, but consequently importing it back and replace the list data with the updated Excel Sheet seems more difficult.
How can I do this? Thank you.

MauritsElias hope you found the answer before this, but basically, if you Edit in Grid View using the Internet Explorer browser, you can just copy + paste from Excel to the Sharepoint list.

Hi MauritsElias
Thanks for raising your question! See article
As the article states,
Files stored in your team's file library are accessible to every member of the Team. In Office for the web, Office for Android or iOS, or the latest applications from Office 365, you and your team members can co-edit Word, PowerPoint, or Excel documents, or comment on Visio files
You can open or edit the document
1.) In Teams
2.) In Excel (the desktop version)
3.) In Excel (the online version in the browser)If you want to replace a file with the same name, simply go to the file tab of the Team and upload the document with the same name, it will ask you to replace it
Note, SharePoint underlies the Teams file experience so it should not be too difficult to do what you need
Hope that answers your question
Best, Chris

ChrisHoardMVP Thank you for your reply. Yes, if it is just an uploaded document this works fine. In my case though I have a list in SharePoint, so not a file but you see the list. You can export it to excel but not upload back to the sharepoint list. I think you can only edit it using MS Access.
