speficy a different owners group for a site.

how do i change the owner group to some other group for a subsite.

 

When we try creating a site from the default web dialog, then it asks for specifying owners, members, visitors. When the owners group is set as the group for approval when we click site settings - site permission - access level settings from the ribbon.

 

Canw e change the default group to some other group other than the specified owners group

    Which version of SharePoint is this on premm? or Online? 

    Depending on the SharePoint site you could change it or change the permissions.
