Sharepoint sync without onedrive
Is it possible to sync Sharepoint without using OneDrive? An if not so, where are the synced files saved? Is it only on c-drive or also somewhere in the cloud?

Hi Christopher,
Thank you for your reply. We're using on premise with OneDrive for business. And indeed it's not really a stable client, but it works. The only thing I fear that the documents my users sync stay within our company and do not go to a kind of a big Microsoft cloud.
Regards,
Arno

Nov 09, 2017They aren't going to Microsoft at all if you aren't using Office 365 at all. If you have an account, without some form of Intune or other local DLP type software you can't prevent that behavior from a manual (user) perspective of copying that data out to another service. But nothing will automatically save your On-Prem stuff to the cloud.
