Fill Effects Gradient not applied to Page ?
I'm trying to apply a fill effects Gradient therefore I go to Design > Page Color > Fill Effects but when I click OK it's not applied to the page ?
Are you running Office on Windows?
Yes.
Gradents should be working in Word for Windows. Make sure that you save to the most recent *.docx format, though. Older file formats may not support gradients.
I can't even see the gradient background in the document. Could there be a setting ? I'm searching and searching but can't get it to display ?
You should see the gradient in Print Layout view.
Note that page colors in general won't show up in printouts (or PDF versions) unless you first enable the option to "Print background colors and images" at File > Options > Display.
Also, remember to save in the most recent file format, as I wrote previously.
