Hey,
I guess you meant to say "Using Office 2010 (word, excel etc) to open files from SharePoint 2013?"
If so you actually don't need to do anything in particular. As long as SharePoint 2013 is still running, you can get the site collection URL that you'd like to access, make sure you have the permission to this site collection. And then you can open the site collection through browser, from there you can navigate to different libraries to see what files are there. And depends on the file format you will use word/excel or other office app to open the files.
