SharePoint RSS feed is spinning

I am trying to introduce an RSS feed to my site but when I go to the home page and click on the RSS feed web part it is just spinning.  Is there something else I need to enable?

I would like to aggregate some public news related to compensation and healthcare in general targeting specific topics.  Has anyone done something like this previously?  Thanks.
