Sharepoint on-prem Sub-site global navigation

One of my subsites (Quality) appears twice on the global navigation menu.  As sys admin, If I click on Edit and try and remove the link, it completely ignores me.  Please see screenshot below taken f...

Hi robpearce ,

 

Try to edit in incognito mode. Sometimes problem comes with the browser.

    Thanks for your suggestion.  I tried Edge, IE, Chrome and Incognito Chrome but got the same result every time.
