SharePoint Mobile App Login Failed for SharePoint 2016 on iPad

I have a user who is unable to login via the SharePoint Mobile App on an iPad when interfacing with SharePoint 2016. He gets the login failed continue by using the browser message. If he goes via the browser and comes back he is still unable to login. Other users on the same network are able to login to the SharePoint app from the iPad. Has anyone else experienced this?
