SharePoint Lists - Version History for list items not showing actual changes

Hello everyone,

As of today, the Version history option for SharePoint list items has changed. It now has four columns (Version, Modified, Modified By, Changes) and all previous changes seem to be listed correctly, however the Changes column is blank for all versions listed. Previously, this column contained information about the changes made to the item in the list. So now all you can see is how many changes were made to the item, when and by whom, but you can't see what was actually changed.

Also, clicking on any version number (in the Version column) of the version history items opens a new browser tab with 404 NOT FOUND - for all version numbers.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Change the List's view back to classic experience, here is the guide how to do that
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/switch-the-default-experience-for-lists-and-libraries-from-new-or-classic-66dac24b-4177-4775-bf50-3d267318caa9

It will give you the old view back (with the version entries fully populated), when to switch back to new\modern dunno? Great thing here you can apply it to just the list and leave the site modern

    Hope this helps

Yes, I have the same problem. I can't see the history..."404 NOT FOUND"
    What happened?

Yes. If this update is still in development, why was it released?
