Hello Scott,

 

The regedit worked. Thank you very much. I am now on the database settings and what are the requirements for this and or an example of a database server name?

    Hello Scott,

     

    I have successfully installed SharePoint on a Windows Server 2016 VM. I have successfully setup SharePoint and I am in the final stages of the setup process. Do you have any tips that you can provide me for SharePoint?

      There is so much knowledge and communities like this to learn from. Gaining experience is great, but take some time to read through SharePoint blog sites for what you need to know. Here are a few ones related specifically to installation, patching and administration.
