SharePoint 2016 Ports and Protocols
Are there any reference articles out there that deep-dive into the ports used for SharePoint 2016 between the different MinRole servers? We'll most likely put them into their own zones for security hardening.
I found an MSDN blog about 2013, and wondering if 2016 has something similar published?
The ports haven't changed. You can use that diagram to divide DC+WFE, App+Search, or however you need to modify it. The clear changes are UPSS is no longer part of the equasion, and the Sandbox Service runs on the WFE role (or DC+WFE).
Here is a complete list of where services reside, although this was based off of RTM.

Lastly, don't forget Microsoft's own documentation.

Thanks Trevor,
I assumed the ports were the same, and have been architecting our production environment based on that. Will respond here if we come across anything abnormal or interesting.
Appriciate the response. See you at Ignite?
