Sharepoint 2016 on prem profile sync not working when using FBA

Hi,

I have a problem with a fresh SP 2016 on prem installation. When I select FBA the Profile Sync doesn't works. I tries incremental and full sync but nothing happens. 

I tested installing another SP 2016 with the same configuration excepts for the login method which was Windows authentication and all profiles syncs without problems. 

The users are in a AD and I have updated the corresponding webconfig files. The timer jobs says all success and I can't find any error related to the syncing in the event viewer.

What can be wrong?
