SharePoint 2013 - Blog on Publishing site
Hello and thanks in advance. Just need to know if having a Blog (subsite) serve as the homepage of an Intranet Publishing site is good practice? The default.aspx is redirected to this blog subsit...
I don't see why this should be a problem...a blog site is just another SharePoint sites using a specific template that can be used for creating site collections or subsites....what do you mean by "Extranet has broken down"? Did you by chance analyze your farm logs to find what has happened?
