Restricted Ports 49152-65535 Requirement Purpose

Hi,

I 'd like to know if anyone know why we have to open the below ports on the machines hosting development tools like MS SharePoint Application, SQL Server, Active Directory,... :

• For Windows Servers:
  
  • Restricted Dynamic Range TCP    49152-65535
  • Restricted Dynamic Range UDP    49152-65535
