My Cx would like to block the creation of New Teams Site in SPO for all their end-users and keep only a New Communications Site only option available. this should not restrict SPO Admins f...

MicrosoftHI NicolasKheirallah, can you elaborate more on your approach ? am not that SPO Expert.
First follow this:

This will restrict who can create new groups and sites. SP Admins can still create.
2. Follow this guide (Not my link):

Just skip the sensitivity label part as you probably don't need that. If the guide isn't sufficient I can create a simpler one 🙂

Will this prevent users who are not a part of the security group created from creating Teams groups as well? NicolasKheirallah
- Yeah, any kind of M365 group creation will be blocked!
NicolasKheirallahDo you know of any other way to prevent the creation of sharepoint sites when teams groups are created? We're wanting to control the creation of sharepoint sites in our environment so that only "IT" can create the sites whether it be sharepoint communication sites or sharepoint sites that are created through teams.
