Remove Duplicates in SharePoint list record using formula

Hello Community!

 

I am designing a form which will collect userPrinciple Names and concatenate them together using a calculated column. 

 

I want a formula which can check for duplicates in that calculated column ROW and if a duplicate appears, it removes it or shows a warning in the form that you are providing a duplicate userPrinciple Name. 

 

Can this be done in SharePoint?

  • QMANN615   You can prevent duplicates by setting the column to enforce unique values.  It's probably easier to prevent them than clean them up.

      Hi,

      This doesn't solve my problem.

      I'll find a workaround.
