Receiving notifications on in Teams 'activity' tab when news post is issued from SharePoint
Hi
I hope someone can help. I have created an communication SharePoint site for my company and when I post news some of my colleagues receive an automatic notification in their Teams 'activity' tab. How can I make this happen for all colleagues? Example below:
So it seems that Microsoft has changed this entire experience for reasons I cannot fathom. We could do all this natively in SharePoint already. News was already on a home page, audience targeted. Now they want us to add a news dashboard onto the home page. What on earth for? Anyway, here's the change that has broken the experience that has worked flawlessly for ages - publish a news post in SharePoint, get a notification in Teams Activity. No more.
