People picker not editable in Chrome
SP 2016 on-prem: odd behavior of people picker fields in Chrome, less than 10% of the time I am able to enter text/select a user. The rest of the time, I can't even click into the field. If I tab into it, the cursor appears behind the help text and never resolves to any user. This is happening with the people picker field on every list type, but only in Chrome.
Comparing code in dev tools on functional vs non-functional fields, the following two attributes are stripped out on the non-functioning fields: spclientpeoplepicker="true" and data-sp-peoplepickereditor="true".
Anyone else ever seen this? And how to resolve?
We are experiencing the same on most but not all of our lists. And it is also inconsistent within the lists having issues. Have yet to find a resolution.
