News web part +Add link showing to Visitor (Read) permission level SP2019 (on-prem)
I have SP2019 Standart Edition (on-prem) setup with Communication site. One of the web parts used is News. The permissions settings on News web part is set to have unique permissions and follow https...
Managed to resolve it by removing the user (as visitor in Site pages) as Member in Site collection (parent site). Hmm.. kinda weird that this doesn't happen to Events web part.
User (Visitor in Events) as Member in Site collection will not see the "Add" link at Events web part.
User (Visitor in Site Pages) as Member in Site collection able to see the "Add" link at News web part.
