News app filters on a community site

Hi all, I have a news filter app on my intranet home page. I have 2 filters which currently filter the page category column from my site pages library to include the page categories 'News' and 'Blogs' and it works fine. When I try and set up a  third filter to filter the keyword column in my site pages library with a particular keyword called ' staff'  then things break down and I have no results visible in the news app 😞   

So I am looking to filter all pages from my pages library that come under the page categories 'news', 'blogs' and which are tagged with keyword 'staff' any ideas?
