Microsoft Lists - How to duplicate a record?
If you have a view with all fields then you can
- edit the date in grid view
- mark the whole row you want to copy
- press CTRL-C
- Click on "Add a new Item"
- press CTRL-V
- exit grid view

Nope, doesn't work. Pastes the value in the last column I copied into the first column of the new row.

What is frustrating is that this USED to work or rather, used to work intermittently.
Now it just doesn't work, period.

Now it is working -- the telltale sign that you are on the right path will be that the row forms a dashed border when your Ctrl-C has taken hold.

This method works, but only if none of the columns in the table have "require that this field contain data" selected. If any columns require data, there will be a warning when the new row is created and you will be unable to paste the information across the row.
