Megamenu showing 2nd level navigation links
Hi all, I hope you can help. I have created a subsite that for some reason in the megamenu shows links a level down from the site above it, even though it is supposed to be inheriting the master...
You’re using subsites? That’s not really supported for global nav. Need to have a hub site as your primary and then join site collections on if that’s what you are trying to do. Let me know if I’m not understanding your issue.
We use a single collection and sites for most of our departments. There are some exceptions and we have to recreate the megamenu for those. The megamenu is not generated automatically from our heirarchy, but from managed metadata (which maybe that is how all of them are.) And on every other site and subsite this works... except for this one. But I have gone through every configuration option associated with the megamenu as far as I can tell. We use the same master page. We have the same options chosen. I just have no idea why this one is show up differently.
I just decided to delete the entire subsite and start again. Turned out to work. Thank you all for your consideration.
