List item edit form not displayed
I am unable to display edit form item when I click the title of an item in my SharePoint list. I am using the modern experience. I am getting the following errors in browser console when I click an item:
I asked ChatGPT about this and it said that the issue might be related to custom forms and suggested me to switch to default form. While it is true that I tried to create a custom form previously, I switched back to the default form later.
The next suggestion of ChatGPT was to clear the browser cache, and actually it worked. But the problem is, now I have to clear the browser cache for each session. If the issue is truly related to the custom forms, then why do I have to clear my cache each time, even after reverting to default SharePoint forms?
Hi enderortak , Could you check if you are able to open a new item form and access the Edit Layout option? Maybe there is some additional configuration causing this issue?
There were some additional configuration in body and header parts of the form. I removed them, but the issue still persists.
