IRM-protected PDFs in SharePoint

Adobe is the default pdf-reader where I work, and that does not support IRM, so we get an error message each time we open an IRM-protected pdf file. I am testing the other options recommended by Microsoft, including the Azure Information Protection App.

1. Does anyone know if there is an Azure Information Protection Addon for internet explorer? When I install this app, I am able to open irm-protected pdf-files from open in explorer view (when I choose to open it with the Azure Information protection viewer), however, I do not have an addon in IE that can open the file in the browser

2. Any workarounds around this problem? Addon to Adobe?
