But AIP cannot be searched within SharePoint!
Microsoft need to make this transparant as it weakens the functionality of SharePoint. Why they cannot unify this, ie: an AIP document can be unecrypted when placed in a SPOL IRM Library.
i am very interested to find out how to mitigate this.
What happens if you are using AIP to tag files in OneDrive and a user goes in and enables the IRM settings in the onedrive document library.
what happens with the AIP and IRM at this point?
how do we mitigate that?
My companies answer was to strip all users of Site Collection administrator permissions and only give them contribute permissions to the onedrive library.
what do you guys do?
