Hybrid Search Time Period
I"m setting up hybrid search with SP2016 for the first time. I have crawled a file share, but the content does not show up in SPO search results. Is there a delay due to timer jobs that we should exp...
I created a Cloud SSA using the power shell scripts provided by Microsoft. When I did a search using the IsExternalContent I get results that include sp2016 site titles but none of the actual docs from Sp16 site or file share content source
and content sources are setup properly on SP2016 side for that particular file share?
The content from the file share shows up in the 2016 search center but not in the SPO search center
Sorry Dean_Gross I guess I am failing to understand your issue. Are you saying about document preview not showing up when you hover on the item when you are in SPO Search center ? And it works in SP2016 Search center?
The SPO search results do not show the same items as the SP2016 search results.
Files that have been crawled and indexed by the Local Sites content source and the File Share content are found by SP 2016 search but not by the SPO search.
The SPO Search is showing links to the SP2016 site urls, so there is some communication occurring, but the actual documents that have been indexed are not getting displayed as I am expecting.
