How to make lists full width section in sharepoint?
How to remove the unnecessary white spaces and explore the possibility of expanding the list view to full width.

As far as I know, the list webpart is still restricted by a maximum lay-out, so even if you place it in a full-width section, it just constrains to that maximum size.
I did find a piece of code on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/spfx/web-parts/basics/use-web-parts-full-width-column that might help expand those restrictions though.
