How is this possible?? Logged in and working, while my acct doesn't exist - at the same time??

Those are two different logins. The one on the left is Microsoft 365, and the one on the right is asking for a "Microsoft" and not a 365 (work or school) account.

You can tell the issue by the URL.
Anything that says "live.com" (on the right browser) is a Microsoft personal account
The URL on the left is your work/school account
