How do I convert .vsd to .vsdx and keep version history?

Hello,

 

I'm trying to convert a Visio document from .vsd to .vsdx, but that merely creates a new document with no previous version history, which I need.

 

How to...?

    Lon_7 it's not possible because it treats the vsdx file as a new file, not just a different version of the old one, so the version number starts at 1.0
