How do I capture the modification date for a specific Column in SharePoint List?

My goal is to use a calculated field (for example "Backlog Start Date") that captures the modification date of a specific field in a SharePoint list (for example "Task Status") so that I can leverage...

Robwgriff you could use a flow in Power Automate to capture the modification date of a specific column by using the new Get changes for an item or a file (properties only) action. Then if the status (only) column has been changed you'd update the column holding the date with today's date utcNow().
