files got deleted, then we restored them. but they are still in trash on local computer

in the 365 portal, the files have been restored, but on the local computer, they are still all in the trash.  im worried about doing anything manually as we all know , conflicts and double files could occur.  any suggestions?  i DONT  want to lose my files, but i DO want them back in their original place.
