Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Excel.WebUI after migration to SHarePoint 2016

After migratin to SharePoint 2016 from SharePoint 2013 and accessing to a site i have this error:
 
Sorry, something went wrong
Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Excel.WebUI, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
 
anyone can help me?

  • I guess you are making use of Excel Services in your site, probably a WebPart on the site's home page.

     

    Excel Services was deprecated in SharePoint 2016 and moved to a separate product called Office Online Server.

    I guess you are making use of Excel Services in your site, probably a WebPart on the site's home page.

     

    Excel Services was deprecated in SharePoint 2016 and moved to a separate product called Office Online Server.

      Thank you Paul ,
      Yes it was an excel web part and I solved it through the web part maintenance page.
      I noticed that you can do the same thing by editing the default via SharePoint designer
