Content Editor Web Part for Modern Pages

Hi,

 

Is there a way to add a content editor or script editor web part to a modern sharepoint page for SharePoint online?

    There is not a modern Quick Editor provided by Microsoft as part of the Modern WebParts Toolbox....but you can check open source WebParts at GitHub...there use to be a replacement of the Content Editor developed by Mikael Svenson

      Is there a reason the CEWP is no longer offered? Should I not use this type of customization?

       

      Is there a best practice that should be used in place of this?
