Communication site Twitter webpart: deprecating-widget-settings not able to use a Twitter list
Twitter (preview) webpart is working ok for now (search timeline, etc.). Twitter is however deprecating data widgets. We have tried to use a Twitter list for source, looks however that current webpart will not accept this (looks like webpart expects also a data-widget-id). Anybody any luck in getting a 'Twitter list' as a source for Twitter webpart? (a Twitter collection will work, but is not applicable for our customer).

I've got the same issue, so if you ever managed to get this working would be good to know how you did it.
Sorry to say ... no solution yet.

Lists are very different to collections, would be great to see lists enabled again.
