Combined SAN and other domain wildcard in 1 cert

Hi all,

 

I have an on-premises scenario in which SharePoint add-ins run in a separate domain in DNS (e.g. fabrikam-apps.com) and where I would like to use a single certificate to support the following:

  • portal.fabrikam.com
  • dms.fabrikam.com
  • onedrive.fabrikam.com
  • *.fabrikam-apps.net

Is this a supported scenario? Thanks for any advice on this topic :-) Cheers!

    Yup that is possible and supported.

    Problem is certificate authorities; your own CA normally works fine but if you want an external CA they ususally don't do this.
